The Beck is a unisex grey Nordic jumper with a shawl collar. It features an oversized maroon, yellow, and olive design inspired by traditional Nordic and Fair Isle jumper patterns that we’ve been creating for over 30 years.
Bold geometric patterns run across the chest on the front and back, and the distinctive shawl collar has three buttons that can be worn undone for a relaxed look or fastened for extra warmth on chillier days.
Made from high-quality British wool, it’s a reasonably tight-knit shawl-collar jumper, guaranteed to keep the wearer beautifully warm and cosy. It layers perfectly over a shirt, or you can pair it with a jacket for a stylish look during autumn and winter.
Why ‘Beck'? Well, we like to name our jumpers after local landmarks and Clapham Beck is the river that runs through the village where Glencroft is based. In fact, we can see it from our office window!
The colours and flowing Nordic-style patterns in the Beck were designed to reflect the beauty of this part of the countryside. Like all our British wool jumpers, it’s deeply rooted in the landscape and personal to the Glencroft name.
